I would also like to shorten mine.
my idea is to cut off the muzzle so that only the 2 glare shields (which you can see in your picture) can be used.
Doing the math I can save something like 400mm (at least).
I would like to keep the left and right pylons whole so I can install all the panels.
I will leave the back open to allow the seat to move on extendable slides to enter the cockpit more easily.
I will take this pic as a reference anyway!

Workijng forward. Completed wiring on several panels and have the misc panel up and running. Still waiting for PC Flights to offer a Misc Panel.
