Rotary Encoder with Push-Button Shaft
Rotary Encoder with Push-Button Shaft
89 in stock
This rotary encoder features continuous 360° rotation in 20 incremental detents. The stepped feel of the detents gives positive sensory feedback to the user as the knob is turned. In addition to the rotary function, the shaft can be depressed as a momentary on-off push-button. The rotary encoder works perfectly for several different simulator components, such as the EHSI course and heading knobs, or anything else where continuous rotation is needed.
This encoder is designed to be used in conjunction with a PCB, but can easily be used as a panel-mounted device with soldered connections. We recommend soldering and strengthening with heat shrink if you use the item without a PCB.
It's designed to work with 5V, so your Atmel (Arduino) and Pic microcontrollers will work just fine with it.
