F-16 Viper Force Transducer Sensor Module

The Viper Force Transducer Sensor Module is designed for builders who want to integrate true F-16 style force-sensing control into their own custom stick base or cockpit project. This version provides the precision sensor hardware only—without a housing or grip—so you can mount it into your own design and take full advantage of authentic transducer input.

The sensor-only version of the VFT uses similar technology to our Side Stick Controller in a more economical package.  It saves you money by allowing you to build your own side stick controller base, reuse an old Thrustmaster Cougar Housing, or build your own custom solution.  It does not feature stick deflection, however the sensor module delivers the same smooth, precise control for formation flying, aerial refueling, and precision maneuvering. Once you experience true force-based input, it’s hard to go back to a traditional spring-loaded stick.

⚠️ Mounting Note:

• If you’re building a completely custom stick base, this sensor-only version is the right choice.

• If you plan to use the original Thrustmaster Cougar housing, you’ll need the dedicated Cougar version.  The side stick controller mounted version will not fit. .

📐 Important Dimensions:
Check the datasheet before ordering. First generation designs used a 0.97" (25 mm) hole pattern radius, but this sensor follows the real F-16 specification with a true 1.00" (25.4 mm) radius. We no longer offer a solution for 25mm.
