These F-16 console panel files are meticulously designed to reflect real-world aircraft panel standards while remaining practical for home cockpit builders and simulator enthusiasts. Developed using MS (Military Standard) panel layout and manufacturing conventions, the geometry, spacing, and labeling are grounded in authentic aviation practices rather than approximations.
The files are provided in Adobe Illustrator (.AI) format and are intended for personal, non-commercial use. They are ideal for builders who want accurate visual fidelity while retaining full control over customization.

Panel layouts follow established MS standards for switch spacing, labeling, and control grouping, resulting in a clean, believable cockpit aesthetic that feels “right” at a glance.
Builder-Friendly Flexibility
While designed around authentic dimensions, the artwork is easy to modify to accommodate non-OEM switches, buttons, and indicators commonly used in simulator builds. Hole sizes, legends, and layouts can be adjusted without breaking the overall look or proportions. The files can be used to make panels in any number of ways, including alumimum back plates, acrylic light plates, and even 3D printed.

These files are a great starting point to make your own panels in your own way while saving you hundreds of hours of effort. They are not meant to be a comprehensive done for you design where you just press a button and panels pop out. They will require adaptation to your use case.

great but... not at the "replica" level
The font is incorrect, the spacing is sometimes wrong and inaccurate, and there are no diagrams of the analog dials. It's a good starting point, but for the price, it's not ideal. Given the level of precision I wanted, I'm going to edit all the files I'll be using, so I'm glad to have this base, but if I had known I was getting this for the price, I wouldn't have bought it. For includes all the panels and the work involved, I'll give it 3 stars.
Every panel here is made from measurements I personally took from a real panel. You nay have some confusion if you compare it with panels you have, because panels are made by different manufacturers with slightly different spacing.
The font used varies by manufacturer as well. The font I use came directly from a prime defense contractor. Almost none of them use the MS33558 font so widely lauded as the official panel font.
