F-16 Side Stick Controller System

The F-16 Side Stick Controller Base brings true force-sensing control to your cockpit with a rugged, full-metal design. Milled from solid 6061 aluminum, this base delivers the durability, strength, and authentic feel you expect when replicating the Viper’s legendary side stick. It’s built to last, and built to give you the most immersive control experience possible.

At the heart of the controller is our precision force transducer system, translating stick pressure directly into aircraft response. This gives you the fine control needed for close formation flying, aerial refueling, and smooth weapons employment. With our free Invictus HOTAS Configurator software, you can calibrate and fine-tune the stick’s sensitivity to match your preferences.  Recent software improvements allow for a simple, easy to use interface built to work with the most common sim software setups.

⚙️ Grip Compatibility:
The base supports the forthcoming Invictus Viper, Thrustmaster Warthog, Thrustmaster Cougar, and Tianhang grips, letting you choose the stick that fits your cockpit best. (Grip not included with this base.)

📐 Mounting Options:

• Invictus Cockpit Frame Mount – Designed for our official cockpit frames, which include a recessed sidewall pocket specifically sized for this controller base. If you build the frame as designed, it drops right in.

• Other Cockpit Frame Mount – For custom or third-party frames, this option provides a sidewall mounting interface. Be aware: dimensions can vary between frame builders. You may need to modify your frame opening for proper fit, and Invictus cannot warranty modifications outside our design. Use at your own risk.

• Direct Metal Frame Mount – If you’re installing directly into a metal frame and want to attach to a Right Aux Console, you’ll need match drill the holes, which means properly setting the device and marking, drilling, and tapping your own mounting holes. This requires precision and voids your warranty once modified. No returns are accepted for devices that have been modified or damaged during installation.  This option is not recommended or supported for wooden cockpits as there is a high likelihood that the forces involved cannot be handled by a wooden cockpit and will result in your frame being destroyed.

• 4080 Aluminum Extrusion Mount – For users wanting to mount a 1:1 replica SSC to a 4080 Aluminum Extrusion cockpit setup, such as the popular MonsterTech solutions, this variant provides a solution.  Please pay close attention to how it mounts, though.  If you have an alternative mounting requirement, a custom mount can be created, but will carry an added cost.

⚠️ Important Notes:

• Mounting screws are not included.  We have found that there are too many variants among individual cockpit builders to cover, so we give you the data and let you choose your own solution.  

• We strongly recommend following Invictus cockpit frame plans as designed to avoid fitment issues.

• Always review the datasheet dimensions before installation.
